I seriously did not enjoy working here, I was not orientated on every aspect of nursing, like procedures, facility protocols. Senior License Nurses do not help. New nurses are thrown to the acute side of the floor alone just after two weeks of orientation. I felt the staffs and the Health Center HR are full time picking on your mistakes rather than helping and acknowledging the hard work we do. You hardly finish your work on time no matter how organized you are. Every will try to play blame gave, and you get penalized for being new and not knowing somethings. Managers are not qualified for the positions they held on. Hiring management hires too many high school students that can't make it until half an hour later when the shift has already started. It's not fair for other works to do double work each shift. There are some difficult residents, but most are very nice. The work is not too demanding, and shouldn't be difficult for someone who can prioritize and keep a happy demeanor while on the floor.
