Most managers are CEO friends and family and some of them are not qualified for the roles they are assigned to. There is no strategy at all. The CEO is constantly changing plans and all departments have to stop what they are doing to accomplish his requests. They mention a bonus, which is never paid. They do not take care of talent. Most employees leave the company during their first year and nothing changes. They do not pay external agencies unless they complain several times.

Basic rule of firing - when the company is in continuous trouble - fire the management not the people who have no say in the proceedings.

- Trying to improve almost all things described in cons

- Mess, mess, mess, there is no organization at all, planning is poor, CEO is coming and asking to do things now, then everyone has to throw away what is doing and do what are asked

Stimulating environment and big opportunities

I've been working for Beabloo for a couple of years and the company is very dynamic. The environment is young and stimulating and the management is always looking for new goals and solution to increase the company's portfolio. As all fast growing tech companies, there has been a period of up and downs but now the situation is very stable and the business is growing. All our ideas and proposals are taken into consideration by the top management and discussed, even if on some specific topics some lack of internal communication has to be underlined. Being in Barcelona i appreciate the summer short working days until 3pm that let us enjoy the seaside and some times with family and friends. It is a working place i would recommend and one of the best companies i've been working for.

Good to end here, bad to do some progress

Good feeling in the office. Flexibility. Work till 3pm on Fridays and summer.
Lots of light in the office and close to the beach
|
Product has no plan ahead and everything is contest or offer based.
Decisions are very slow. You'll get burned before seeing any update in tech.
Marketing team is very poor, no clue on what is useful. Prices changed 3 times just in the first month after releasing a product. Website changed 3 times in a year with no improvement.
In-laws and friends are a common hiring rule

Some senior managers were true tyrants. Sexual harassment and bullying was rampant, but no one did anything, because of nepotism.
There is no concept or talent in the product and marketing team, especially in the senior management - no idea what strategy is either. Instead of planning, they just react. For some reason their investors think this is a savable company - it is not. At least, not as it is now.
You work long hours, just because and get a low salary. Ridiculous.
