Beacon Charter High School for the Arts has proven this by overcoming a rough beginning to eventually create an environment of learning that succeeds in academic excellence and artistic prowess. In any charter school, the hardest reality is that it exists as a separate entity whose viability is only as good as its performance. The fact that there is no assurance to staying solvent or maintaining student achievement based on a steady stream of superior students or districts that pay a fair amount per student is unnerving. This keeps the faculty slightly on edge, but with the right staff, that simply means working even harder to maintain and excel. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 0.0 5.0 4.0 4.0 0.0 4.0 5.0 599782 Open The pursuit of exterior funding is underway and has much potential. Please maintain this as the priority second only to accomplishing the mission at hand - train artistic thinkers. We must not lose sight of the arts in the face of the overarching mandates from the state. Both demands must be met else we fail our students. 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 6.0 Jan 9th, 2021 07:29PM Jan 9th, 2021 07:29PM Beacon Charter High School for the Arts
