I love working with my supervisor at Becker. I have definitely learned a lot about teamwork and the CPA review software. The most enjoyable part of the job is I get to go to helpful events and meet CPAs from different states coming to Dallas for conferences.

Poor Management- do not recommend

Becker likes to give the appearance as if it's a fun and progressive place to work, but that's far from the truth. The culture is stuffy and everyone does whatever it takes to stay out of management's way. The level of favoritism is out of this world. The management team is known to have bad tempers and everyone tries to stay on their good sides to avoid getting axed. Few women and no minorities in any real position of power. Overall not a place for serious people looking for a long term career.

Becker provided great knowledge and training, while allowing many to work remotely, they are very prompt if any questions needed to be addressed. Providing SOP's to assist with many of the reports and or policies this was very helpful. I would welcome an opportunity to work with the organization again.

This company is part of Adtalem. The company provides exam review and is a leader in the CPA review space. Overall the company has a strong product but is facing changes in the market. The company is working to respond to those changes and it has caused some reorganization. This lends to duplication of job efforts and sometimes difficulties between employees. Adtalem has strong leadership so I am hopeful for good things to make their way to the Becker division.
