Team is highly functional and collaborative. Executives are people who truly care about their staff and creating a business that is a force for good rather than pure profit. Best part of job are the people. A diverse, talented bunch who are all driven by questions such as: What could we do better? There is a steep learning curve and constant search for better ways to do things. Not a place for people who are complacent. There are always new things to explore and problems to solve. While Bellroy has a relaxed atmosphere (we have dogs in the office, flexible working arrangements and sleep pods), things are fast paced and you're expected to perform. At Bellroy I've learnt a lot about myself, the world and others. I've been provided many learning opportunities by Bellroy in many different areas - both soft and hard skills. Bellroy has the culture of pushing the boundaries. Just because something has been done a way doesn't mean it should. We try to apply a compassionate rationality in our approach to all things. The upper management reflects the company culture and cares about its' employees. The hardest part of the job is that we keep pushing the boundaries (which in my opinion is a really good thing). It's sort of a double edge sword. While we touch on the wins, (and maybe this is just as much a reflection of who I am as a person) we don't really sit in the wins. The most enjoyable part of the job is that the work is meaningful and the people around you are highly competent and warm. | Dogs, sleep pods, great people, meaningful work | It's very different to a lot of places. I continue to get a lot out of the work that I do and enjoy the company culture. It's not for those that need to be micromanaged, we're a hard-working group but you definitely need to be self-motivated. The fun stuff: - ping pong table - office dogs - every other month we have a different social event. We've had everything from cheese tasting to trivia. - sleep pods with comfy bean bags - We have a little garden - good snacks and optional Friday night drinks The work stuff: - every other month we have group learning events. Everything from how to have difficult conversations to how to make a learning plan. - we have stand up/sit down desks - we have an open office with private meeting rooms/spaces available - We have a dedicated and helpful flourishing team that are here to basically facilitate any reasonable work related training that you need. - A lot of our teams are in-house and they often give talks/demonstrations on what they're up to so that the rest of the company has a chance to learn something new and stay up to date with what's happening. The Bellroy environment has been a really great fit for me.
