A few people at betterment at work are really great - in the face of incredible adversity and a total lack of support or recognition - they shine.
|
Where do I begin?
Criminally understaffed.
A complete failure to communicate much of anything between functions - especially challenges (like staffing) to other functional areas - leading to an us vs them culture across the entire business, which almost feels purposeful.
Leadership plays the blame game while refusing to take accountability for a complete lack of organization or direction.
A culture that allows leadership to bully (and actually push blatant lies) about rank and file staff without repercussion.
Recycling the same old tired ideas that have been tried before that only lead to more unscalable process - at the expense of the customers and the very burned out staff.
The “old guard” refuses to listen to any of the ideas or modern processes that new people were hired to bring to the table. You will be publicly shot down and then reprimanded for doing the job you were hired to do.
A total absence of tooling to track any kind of meaningful or accurate data - and then accusing middle management of not “using data.”
