Pay was pretty good. Most of the regular staff was nice. Toxic management. Unclear directives. Concerns and critiques are seen as complaining. Everything moves very slowly. Emails are ignored. Policies not equally enforced. It was a complete joke. Really the worst job ever Their whole operation is miserably outdated. Non-computerized systems, elderly office management, higher ups completely ignorant and resistant to any positive change. "My way or the highway" attitude. Poorly selected underachievers for employees all around. Abuse of "work from home privileges". Absentee employees can't possibly do their jobs, especially when the president works over 1000 miles from the office. Clueless employees in a tiny operation shilling bad products. No sort of quality training is offered to new employees. Delegation occurs from each step down, all the way from the top. Basically, nobody really does anything for 3/4 of the month besides delegate and drink on the job, then when its time to make the monthly sales numbers, all of the sudden people show up for work. All the employees are clicky and new people aren't cool enough to go and get drunk on lunch with the old man sales guys and the clueless ops manager, but they're cool enough to do their jobs for them, and take the heat for their shortcomings. People past their time should be asked to retire, or terminated. Your operation is about 25 years behind the times and it shows. From your dated 70's "Florida sunroom" office decor, to the oppressive and miserable attitudes your employees have all around. Sometimes it's better to start from scratch. If the German parent company reads this, you really should make changes in order to succeed here in the USA. Your presence here is a laughable joke and it's all because of the underwhelming employees you have representing you here. Your product guys, customer service guys and sales guys are out of touch and are either past their prime, or maybe never had enough training to have had a prime.
