Very disappointing when they buy out another company then within 5 years they close the doors & lay off everyone, leaving the patients out to dry with a company too far away to make a difference. I started a brand new job (leaving my previous job of 4 years) at Billings Clinic with a promise of advancement opportunity in March of this year. I worked until June and then was abruptly released under probation when I was told by my supervisor that everything was going great. I worked in the IT department and comparatively speaking, it is extremely cutthroat in that department. People stab each other in the back all the time. I do not recommend it. The least they could have done is share with me any issues they had with me and give me a chance to work on it. I've been out of work now for 6 months thanks to Billings Clinic. I loved the fast pace environment, felt appreciated and valued. Always room for advancement. Very interesting job, learned alot. Fun people and place to work. Advancement, good pay and benefits. Was able to take days off as needed as our department had coverage available most of the time. Worked with great people and the leaders there are fair. Billings clinic has a terrible work culture. This is mainly due to their leadership. Management was below standard and only cared about the bottom line. If you apply and get a job here you will be overworked, underpaid, and not be respected by your management and other departments. Most of the therapists here are burnt out. There is a reason why this company always has openings at the RT position. I would strongly encourage anyone who is looking to get a job in Montana to look elsewhere before starting here. In the beginning it was an awesome place to work. There was more fun and activities done for the employees. As time went on everything changed. Things were very clickish and a lot of favoritism. Open choices for staff etc... Seems not to open when you will be terminated if you choose to not take a flu vaccine.
