It was challenging to learn this but I felt like I was catching on. This is a big company but run locally so their was a corporate culture but it was combined with that of a small business, this was difficult to navigate. It seemed like there was a core group of long time employees who had a deep connection and an outer layer of new comers who didn't stay long. I was among the new comers.
