Blis was an extremely toxic place to work and with no-one to talk to for support or guidance as the HR team lacked empathy. There was a lot of racial and gender discrimination in the form of office 'banter'. The other reviews mentioning it was a 'boys club' is accurate. Management were distrusting of their employees and showed clear favoritism to those who brought the most sales in.
The structure of the company felt like school - senior staff would condescend and punish mid-junior level staff in often humiliating ways. Most of the staff there were unhappy, exhausted and demotivated. Too much focus on making money through unethical and misleading ways and not enough time focused on the well-being of staff and cultivation of a trusting and safe environment.
