This is not a company - it is a family. I sit next to the founder and the CIO who constantly motivate me and make me feel important. They include me in their meetings, their discussions, and their events. The family environment that is present is the healthiest workplace you will ever find. The work is fun, challenging, and rewarding. I never find myself wondering why I work for free. Inside this business you will find the hardest working, ambitious, and determined workers in the world. They live for this company and I do not blame them. This is the best experience of my life and they have given me purpose in the workplace. This is a company that will have setbacks, but never fail. Love these people with my entire heart. There is no job I would rather have.

Stay away, especially if you are trying to transition from intern to full-time

Provided lunch (although not always healthy). Casual environment.

As an intern, you are unpaid. Generally, it is advised to not take unpaid internships unless you have no other choice (in this case, I broke this rule and turned down multiple paid offers from well known companies for the start-up "experience") and was severely disappointed. You'll end up being an unpaid salesperson not gaining any real skills. The paid employees don't seem to do much work, besides the product development team, and have to work extra jobs to pay the bills. Resist the temptation to work here and you'll thank me later. Also, do not be fooled by these other 5 star reviews - the reviews were written by inexperienced individuals who have yet to see what a truly rewarding work experience is.

Get your act together and focus on what drives business. You have a good product, yet have the wrong people on staff. Hire a staff of sales people and drop the unpaid internship. No need wasting the time of young and motivated individuals not interested in being salesmen.

Never paid. I started out as a Creative Marketing Associate and became a door-to-door salesmen b/c they needed some sort of income. They had 1 paying customer despite claiming to have hundreds and you are expected to put in at least 40 hours even if they can't pay you.
They promise so much and fall short of it every time. Everyone is disposable in management's eyes and they are extremely immature and unprofessional. Clearly, every other glowing review for this company was written with a watchful eye from management. We were all encouraged to write 5 star reviews while in the office very early on in the internship.
During meetings with business investors, the CEO will claim that the company is worth billions of dollars (yes, billions) and the investors can see straight through that and they go running for the hills. No investment.
Lastly, I will reiterate that you will not get paid. If you're looking for a company that values honesty and integrity, then steer clear of Bloomforth.

Not only did I enjoy every moment of being an intern over the summer at Bloomforth, I also learned a lot. Aside from learning a lot about small businesses and getting great work experience, I also learned a lot about myself and what I am capable of. It was a great environment to grow and discover what you can do. Additionally, it was a great feeling seeing the work you have accomplished making a big impact on the company, which is not something I believe I would have experienced working at a larger company. Another awesome thing about Bloomforth is also their dedication and how well they listen to their clients, as they make an extra effort to get to know everyone they meet.
Have I mentioned the people who work there? They were all amazing to work with and get to know, and are like a second family to me. I will not forget the laughs and the random conversations about topics such as, "Would you rather be Captain America, or Loki?"

Several times throughout the summer, I laughed so much that my cheeks hurt. I had to control my laughs after that to stop my face from hurting more.

I learned so much during my internship. Being able to work with great people, do great work for others made me excited to wake up and go to work every day.
The team knows how to work hard and enjoy themselves as they do it. It is truly a family and one of best experiences I have ever had in my life.

I come into work every morning motivated to do something. Never have I ever been more excited to go to work every morning. The people I work with are kind and supportive. No two weeks are the same we take on new challenges to try and achieve higher goals. The work ethic is something we can be proud of. My role as a Business Development Intern doesn't just revolve around my title but also requires me to be flexible and work in various departments of the company. I'm so lucky I found this company. For the first time in my life, I actually enjoy going to work.

The people are awesome! I couldn't ask for better co-workers. The work environment is great: lunch provided everyday, bring-your-dog-to-work days, and two arcade machines for break time fun. It's great working with a diverse group of people, all with strong opinions. I love spit-balling with the team to come up with unique solutions to our everyday problems. I've learned a great deal about marketing already, and I'm excited to continue growing with the company.

Not much to say here. The office is a bit small, but I like the close-knit group it creates. The biggest con I can think of is that sometimes I don't like the movie we watch on movie-day.
