The pay is good and they encourage training and certification. I will say that as time goes on it becomes more noticeable that the people at the upper/upper mid level have a severe disconnect from those on the floors and the middle management. I see engineers and my managers worked to the bone and they just keep hiring bad managers who don't understand the diverse nature of our work here. It is not a database. Their total lack of it standards leads to each small group adopting its own software at huge expense. My work assignments were on par with things I've done 15 years ago. The facility was exactly like and ant farm with worker ants tripping over each other and spilling soda going up and down the many flights of stairs. Average age of employees here is very low. Many fresh out of school and they have no idea how to not disturb neighbors in an open work area.
