Started out great but significantly changed over the years

Overall, I enjoyed my time there. Bonnier had its ups and downs like any other organzaition. The first half of my employment was wonderful, but after some of the supervisors had either retired or been let go, the culture greatly shifted for the worse. I would've eventually ended up leaving, but was laid off before I had the opportunity.

In a tough environment, Bonnier tries it's best.
|
The last ten years have not been easy for magazine publishing or even digital publishing, but Bonnier has fared as well as can be hoped. That's in large part due to a decent management team that does put the effort in to try and run a profitable business.
Overall, Bonnier tries to create a creative and productive environment as best it can, but is hamstrung by outside forces. You could do a lot worse, and probably not find a ton a similar sized companies that are better.
