At this point of time i wouldn’t know. Salary was ok but still below current market rates. There were some good colleagues that were supportive and worked collaborative to achieve the same goals.

I personally was discriminated against when the new CEO was brought in. A lot of things went downhill. My job role was morphed into something else. I was given a task to speak to the ceo whenever he would visit the London office - to be more visible. Understand that there was a race issue- i had approached him once and he walked away immediately. I didn’t feel safe in such an environment. With everything that is going on in the world i feel compelled to speak my truth.

The sense of hierarchy has taken over. The American takeover has had a huge adverse effect on global team operations. The overwhelming interest in removing the former team who built it to where it is today. The complete contempt and dismissal of respect to those who sweated over BookingBug to only be pushed out of the window. The deception of internal messaging to the business that everything is on a positive path, when in fact, expect to be expelled at any time. Nepotism and brown-nosing has become the new approach for the original team. A warning: expect to be subservient.

The work culture is amazing, everyone works together like a family rather than just a corporate business (not a bad thing).
There is flexibility and SO much focus on the individual employee's and their physical/mental health. Policies are very very friendly for employees.

Structure is a bit all over the place and there is a lack of processes for a lot of things. Sometimes you will have to figure out what to do without finding answer even having asked 30+ people.
Too much focus on future company endeavors rather than focusing on what needs fixing now.
Product is very unstable and not enough focus on getting it stabilized before working on new features.

It's a challenging place to work because things have grown quickly and there's still a lot to be worked out. This is great if you're up for a challenge and want to work hard to make positive differences but if you're looking for somewhere to take it easy this probably isn't the place for you.
