Customers paid bookit and bookit kept their money. They frequently lay off most of their call center employees without notice. Breaks are short and you can be forced to work your day off without notice or have to work an early shift after getting off work at midnight the night before.

This was a very stressful environment! I expected because it was a vacation booking service the mood would feel as such . Very military structured. At times I would feel sorry for customers as their hotels or plane tickets sometimes did not get paid. I would leave crying and upset at times.

Very busy and productive workplace with a very diverse and wonderful group of people to work with.

This was a well organized and productive company with an intelligent diverse group of employees that were a lot of fun to work with. Customers tended to be happy, particularly when we could find great deals to amazing locations. I learned a great deal about how call centers function as well as exciting vacation spots worldwide. Middle management were very supportive and helpful. Upper management seemed to have issues I prefer not to discuss as it’s mostly hearsay but I did end up getting laid off with 100+ other employees for restructuring.

This place was horrid. The environment here was horrible everyone was always walking around waiting to be fired. Then the day came that explained why when the CEO stepped out on balcony with a makeshift sound system and told everyone to go home. Turned the phones off and kept all the customers money. Then come to find out applied for and received PPP funds for the pandemic. Don’t know who he paid with those since he sent everyone home without a job and no notice... 80 people lost their jobs that day.

It's a cut throat environment where everyone plays the blame game. You'll be lucky if you aren't fired for no reason and escorted out of the building like a criminal. On the plus side, you get a free meal once a month for employee anniversaries.

I worked for this company for a year and half and it felt like 5 years. The work is hard and they consistantly push you to do more for not much in pay. The people you meet can be friendly, but if management wants someone to blame for low numbers, finger pointing becomes prevalent.
