Friendly staff, nice office, free comic books

Very labor intensive, not ideal working conditions. They would cram 4-5 interns to one desk. Not much of a learning experience, more like free manual labor. Unpaid.

One of the really great comic series publisher.

Really easy to work with editors. really friendly. The work becomes easier with a good professional on the other side.

their rates for pages or covers are aren't between the bests out there. So you might have to renegociate the rates before accepting a freelance work with them. Although the chances of getting any changes on the rates are really low.

It would be really interesting to reconsider the rates for covers or pages illustrations. Boom has a tremendous range of interesting titles, but the low rates ends up driving away some nice artists.
