When there was work it was a great remote job with flexibility
|
For a few months I really liked this job as it was a remote workplace and I was paid for how much work I put in. Then the jobs dried up. I tried to get a hold of my manager and she said there would be more work available soon, and that was last July. I still log in from time to time but to no avail. Nothing.

This is something that you do while looking for full-time work; calling it a part-time job is being generous. The amount paid per ad really should be higher ($3 or $4 per ad at the very least). However, getting copywriting experience without having to go anywhere is a major plus.

Work is fully remote, bonuses are given, possible to get a higher position if your approval rate is exceptionally high, easy way to gain copywriting experience
|
Low pay, ads can take weeks to get approved, available writing categories are vague/obscure at times, website is confusing to navigate at first
|

When I applied for the position, the ad read that they would pay $10-$25 an hour. This is only true if you can write that amount of ads within an hour. Otherwise, you do not get paid. Furthermore, your ads can be rejected in which case you will also not be paid for your work. The writing is also timed and your work will be erased once the time runs out. I'd feel more motivated to write if I were paid $5 or $10 per ad.

I started with the company as my first job. all the people in the company are really nice, managers would love team members to try different technologies and stuff. But there's barely career advancement and bacause company hired so many people in a sudden and spend funding rapidly which lead the company to a bad condition.
