Very well run company.
These modern Ducks are always kept in perfect working condition and any odd mechanical issues that may arise are addressed immediately. Safety for all passengers and crew is the companies top priority and we all work as a team to make sure that happens. We perform and log a comprehensive vehicle inspection at the start and end of every day. The driver training is excellent and ongoing. The best part of operating a DUKW is splashing into The Charles many times a day and hearing people laugh and giggle at the very accurate history conveyed by the very zany conducktors. :)

I loved the people driving and the experience and hope I can go back best job ever and I loved seeing the water every day but because of covid 19 they had to let some of us go but I’ll miss them a lot

Not a great place to work

The hours are long and it's a lot of pressure on you to upsell items. The heat in the summer is brutal and the traffic in Boston will drive you crazy.

Boston Duck Tour is a productive and fun workplace to employee. For one thing, in the job we drive the customers in a tour. For that reason, we drive safely and slowly in order to allow the customers to take pictures on monumental sites. As they enjoy the tour, it allows the driver to enjoy the working day. Also, the company help me to become a better driver as they give me more skill on how to drive safely and anticipate accident before they occur

Better than expected, But exhausting

Started out as just a way to get quick money turned out to be a great place to work an getting money. Highly recommended for high school and college students. Great understanding of student life and multiple discounts to other city attractions. Hours are very long and are under the sun the whole time. Friendly environment. 3 months off season can be beneficial or detrimental.
