Highly recommend working at BrandLink..

I started at BrandLink when the company first formed and really enjoyed my time there. The work environment is welcoming and caring and makes you want to come to work each day. The partners and staff give you the chance to interact directly with clients and there are always exciting projects and events that you get to work on.
|
The only con is working in PR can be demanding, however the partners were very fair with making sure you could still have a personal life. They also always made themselves available to talk if you did have any issues.

Great place to start a career

With my first job out of college being at BrandLink, I really couldn't have asked for a better learning experience. More seasoned employees are really willing to mentor and teach you a lot about the industry. Being a smaller firm, I was also able to get some hands-on experience very quickly which was instrumental in determining what I enjoyed about the field and figuring out where my biggest areas for growth were. Such a supportive team!

You need to be able to roll with the punches. PR is a very demanding field and life at BrandLink definitely exemplified that. Things get crazy and you need to make sure you're dependable and independently motivated. Be certain you are a self-starter so that you can more easily dive into big, crazy client projects.

BrandLink has been a great place to learn about Business/ Operations/ HR. The company is very receptive to new people and I was never afraid to ask questions when I started. They also like to promote from within.
|
If you are someone who is not organized or flexible, this may not be the place for you. You have to be prepared to communicate daily to employees from different time zones and even clients from different countries.
Patience also plays into that- not getting responses in what may seem like a "timely manner"

Great place to learn the PR ropes and makes you appreciate a smaller company versus corporate PR. Great variety in clients and brands and as well as the amazing work ethic with peers. We all worked very hard and passionate about the company. We were family real quick.

Unstructured enviornment but if you are self motivated you'll appreciate that more than a structured corporate enviornment.
