I learned about retail markup and business management. Profit is king. Management was by intimidation and threats. Stress was the hardest part of the job. Breaks were timed. Only got one break in the morning. This most enjoyable part of the job were the customers and the accounts. At the beginning there were bonuses for quality work then after 2008 the bonuses disappeared and no amount of sales, phone calls, customer contact was enough.
