FSI is one of the greatest work places you can work for. The day (or tour of duty) starts and ends at different times for different workers. Everyone's assignment is well defined and organized. You'll think of it as something intimidating but once you were able to join them, you'll actually grow not just personally but academically as well. They continue to educate and improve the skills of their employee which would enable them to do their tasks better. They should hire real teachers and check their education before they hire them. I had the feeling some of the instructors got their jobs because they have connections there. Friends or family members working for government. Heavy work is done by contractors who don't have any rights. Most government workers don't like real good teachers because of competition. They bully them and blame them everything, so they don't come back next year. Government workers try to get rid of very good teachers- contractors asap. I assume: Job security! Very strange environment. Poor diplomats end up mostly with teachers who can’t teach at all. Language testing is done at FFSIFSI.FSgovernment workers who inflate .the reslults.
