Burgerfi's main problem is their lack of management. The management was alright when the store first opened up, but then they all left to focus on another location, and they brought back managers who have no idea what they're doing. They are trying to open way to many stores at once and have too much on there plate. Instead of focusing on opening multiple restaurants at once, they need to focus on running a restaurant and management. At my location, from what I heard is that they hired a manager just because he worked at burgerking. The manager treats his employees horrible by making them do unnecessary work and treating people horribly. Literally anyone can get this job because everyone quits and they just need to hire people. This is a good starting point, but once you get the job and get some experience, leave. Workload was a lot considering the place was filled with high schoolers looking for job experience and opportunity. Management treated us like children but expected adult actions and gave PLENTY of chores and responsibilities that were not in the job descriptions. They do not listen to scheduling requests at all, and are very immature when you call out or ask for days off no matter how many days/weeks in advance. Almost all of the original group of hires have quit due to poor management and a rather toxic work environment. They claimed to have a friendly work space and straightforward expectations to suck you in when they interview you, but it’s simply sweet talk. Free lunch, discounted food, and fun coworkers. It made me sad to leave because I really liked the managers. Schedule is flexible but the hours are usually only 6 hours a day, not 8, so if youre looking for more hours, maybe try somewhere else. Not a lot of room to grow but if you are doing great at your job, you’ll become a Lead in whatever position you are working. Raises usually every 3 months. Managers very respectful and helpful and will not leave you alone to struggle ever. Coworkers are pretty good as long as they were trained by someone good. It gets hard sometimes when its constantly busy but managers pump you up during the rush. 10/10 reccomend working here. The GM WAOOOOO well I never had the chance to training the correct way I was there fir 1 months and just git a call from her telling me that I was selling stuff to a costumer very on professional from her to cause me fir something that I didn't did. Plus saying the the guest call corporate and made a complaint well lol I never talk to a guest .first what ever I do in my private life and in my time is my busines. Any way they want to change but they don't want to is a game they treat the place like a day care is a job my friends we go to work. Not babysitting. So my plan was to bring that place to were need to be but I gues they didn't want to and had to made something false to let me go very on professional from both of the restaurant owner and The GM accused me for something that I didn't committed any way I learn from this one . Strong 💪 not recommended for a job .
