Positive workplace with kind personable management

I worked here for a Summer and a semester of school. This is a solid position with plenty of opportunity for advancement. While it can be a little chaotic during the busy seasons, it's overall a nice company to work for and a good environment. Only reason I left was because my internet provider was switched and could no longer support the internet capabilities required for the position.

Has very good work-life balance.
Choose your own hours.
High call volume can be stressful if you suffer from anxiety. Not enough breaks in-between calls to take a breather.
Pay is decent if you're used to working minimum wage, then it's a great way to jump into a different line of work and get paid more.
Mental Health is taken seriously.
As a Gig, don't expect to keep the job as they can let you go at any moment for any reason.

I liked that I could schedule my own hours. The training was great and help after was great. It's a temp position but can be full time after the gig is up.

The workload is unmanageable. There is zero work life balance. They do not appreciate their employees. You are expected to work weekends and there is never downtime.

Gig work but good
|
I was a gig worker.
They have a pretty flexible schedule so long as you work 20+ hours a week and notify them ASAP of any changes.
Management was always nice and helpful.
It is a difficult job but if you work hard and learn the system it isn't so bad.
Wish I could have worked here longer but my contract ended.
I would definitely work here again. I wish I could be a permanent full time employee.

Flexible, great hours, lots to learn. Pay is ok for how knowledge you have to retain. Sitting in one position for hours upon hours gets old. Callers are awesome and you do get to learn a lot.

Perfect job if you need flexibility. You create your own schedule and the pay is $17/hr. I wish it was $20/hr starting off because the work is not easy and the two weeks of paid training could be better. There’s a big turnaround with this company.
