Product has a ton of potential. making a separate prospecting tool for those who don't need the data/analytics the platform originally supplies, which is awesome to help expand the market to those who just wish to prospect. laid back work enviornment, no micromanagement, pretty "free" environment as long as you do what you're supposed to be doing. casual dress is nice. incentive plan is decent.

company is functioning as a start up all around, processes and practices are constantly changing. was told there was an abundance of leads when i started they were vetted by the marketing team which is false. lead quality went down drastically and marketing team had trouble keeping up with the amount of leads needed daily as the company had started to grow with more employees. with the growth of more employees, lead quality has gotten worse, and it seems there's no funding for premium leads anymore. no actual sales training at all- let alone on how to cold call, and no revisiting training to help current employees improve their performance on the phones or product knowledge. the incentive plan is decent, but no one will ever be able to capitalize on it and really reach the top tier of the plan to make the most money, or consistently hit it. extreme lack of flexibility. as an hourly employee i was constantly reminded that i was hourly, and would have to "make up the time" or felt guilted for leaving early for personal reasons. was told I'd be able to work from home if I needed to, after being sick for a week straight and coming into office, I asked to work from home and was told "not to make a habit out of it", therefore I never asked to again. also wanted to change my schedule by 30 minutes, and was told I couldn't. no vacation/PTO days till you've worked for the company for a full year. it's a pain to get in touch with HR and ask them any questions, and management never had the answers to any HR questions. communication throughout the whole company is poor, people doing the same positions in different offices are following different processes and nothing is consistent. In the 6 months I've worked there, my paycheck was wrong or delayed 3 times in which I had to wait till the next pay period for them to fix any errors on their end. You're expected to smile and be upbeat through any changes/anything that negatively effects you or your role and always be happy no matter what because "its life" - management is very insensitive to any personal/life occurrences and the "job" seems to be more important than helping employees and improving any defects in the company.

Improve the overall work culture of the company, improve flexibility, there's no reason employees who are making calls and sending emails and working independently, can't work from home - if you don't trust them to work from home, don't hire them and don't promote flexibility if you can't/won't be flexibile. Provide sales training to everyone in sales from sales professionals outside of the company that can provide cold calling techniques and email tips and product knowledge. Give employees the opportunity to improve their skills and exceed their goals, happy sales people are sales people that make money and feel like the company wants them to succeed!! Listen to the feedback from everyone doing specific roles, and help make their job more enjoyable and more productive.
