This includes producing developer focused content, revamping and owning our documentation, engaging developers on social networks like Stack Overflow/GitHub, and driving our presence at conferences, meetups, hackathons, etc.</li><li>Create and distribute content for our blog, website, technical docs, and more. </li><li>Act as a technical advisor and mentor to developers of all skill levels to help them adopt and understand the Mason platform, and build better apps for smart devices.</li><li>Build creative tools, apps, demos, etc, that can be used by our sales and marketing teams or distributed to our developer community to help with on-boarding and overall Mason user experience. </li><li>Speak at and attend both local and out-of-town conferences, hackathons and meetups to raise awareness about Mason.</li><li>Build a side-business using Mason to use for demos, case studies, etc</li><li>Help build out analytics for product usage and website engagement to optimize to sales, marketing, and product adoption funnel.</li><li>Act as the voice of the developer to help refine the Mason messages and value propositions.</li><li>Work closely with our product team to help surface new feature ideas and prioritize our roadmap.</li></ul><div><br /><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong><br /><br /></div><ul><li>3+ years of software development experience. <div><strong>Come help build an infrastructure company from scratch! </strong><br /><br />We're looking for the right person to join our close-knit team and help realize our expanding road map! Mason's core product is mobile infrastructure as a service -- think elastic, customizable hardware, software and services. You will be instrumental in helping us take our foundational product to the next level. <br /><br />Our current focus is Controller, an all-encompassing device deployment and management system consisting of a web portal (the Console), an SDK (CLIs and APIs), back-end services deployed via Kubernetes, and lots of Android code among other things. We're making it easy for any entrepreneur to deliver a "smart product" involving custom devices in record time!<br /><br />This role is for a Systems/Embedded Engineer that's open to diversifying as needed. If you're ever worked with embedded devices bring up, Linux kernel drivers, or AOSP, CAF and any of their various forks, you might be a great fit! Our core product includes an infinitely configurable operating system we call Mason OS which is the foundation for our device management functionality.
