The people who you work with are smart, collaborative, and caring. My experience with my coworkers was one of mutual respect and a desire to help each other out. The work could be good on some days and worse on others, but quality of the employees at Cadre never changed.

Management often appears to be directionless. Communication is poor and decisions trickle down outside of official channels and aren't addressed until days or weeks later. A number of projects I worked on were axed midway through which was demoralizing. I heard it over and over again: Cadre is too small to be this bureaucratic.

Don't be so reactive. Have a plan and execute on it. If you need more employees, hire more employees, but don't give the ones who are there whiplash as they bounce from project to project. And if you can't hire more employees than reevaluate your goals, but don't expect the folks who work for you to be responsible for the execution of an impossible roadmap.
