Most employees are friendly and will help shifts be bareable. There is a high turn over. People are afraid of losing their jobs at a drop of a pin. Culture in office is a dead and outdated. I got hired into a position that was going to be axed in months. After they eliminated my position they put me in two different other positions. Good incentive programs for all levels of employment. Management try’s to make things fun and that is much appreciated. The company has had its challenges but usually powers through them. I have been working here for over 4 years and have seen a lot of change through the years and the most impactful has been the last year during the transition. Calnet places a big emphasis on our core values; Integrity, excellence, responsiveness just to name a few which is very important to me. We focus on solving our clients business problems, which can be a rare trait in this industry. I'm excited about the direction management is driving the organization and the future looks even brighter! I've worked at this organization for a very long time, and before I worked at Cal Net, I didn't know what a well run, positive company looked like. I assumed that nasty office politics, cross department sabotage, and management lying were a normal part of American work places in todays' age. That was until I arrived at Cal Net. It is so refreshing to come into work every day, just having to worry about doing the job and not all the extra curricular stuff that brings no value like backstabbing and throwing people under the bus. The management team has always been very straight forward and honest with everything they've told us. It may not always been what we want to hear, but it's truthful and always in the best interest of it's employees and the organization. Don't let these bad reviews fool you. These were employees that were recently let go, and some not recently, who still have a lot of animosity about it. These were the ones in the office that created the negativity and toxic environment, and were actually allowed to stay a lot longer then I thought they should have. They were long time employees who felt entitled to everything, and felt like they shouldn't have to change what they're doing for anyone. We've all had these types of people in our offices before, so take what they write for what it's worth. All in all, Cal Net has been one of the greatest places I've ever worked at, and it's not just hyperbole. Like I've said earlier, I know what bad company's look like and Cal Net is one of the best, and I would love to be able to stick around here as long as things keep going the way they are. Not really a con, but more of a nice to have.
