Stressful and disorganized mess of a company
|
Canacre as a whole had a very disorganized company structure and went through major management changes throughout my brief time there. There was a very high turnover rate with a constant revolving door in my department. Lots of overtime was expected because the workload was insanely high. Training was virtually non-existent and there was very little support from the company.

Unaccountable, lack of transparency and poor employee care

Good coworkers and interesting projects. There is corporate politics, one needs to watch ones back for backstabbing. A good place to start ones career. Lack of transparency and support to employees. A lot of lip service, but senior management can be ruthless and unaccountable. You can be let go on a dime for no reason without any warning ahead of time or provided any opportunity to correct.

Very poor management that play games and ignore you if you ask questions and need assistance. Pass the buck management until you hit the top. I was warned about this company but tried it anyways, everything I was told was correct. Management has no clue or follow through on anything especially your job. You do the work and everyone else takes the credit there is NO teamwork at all in this company.

My opinion of this company is negative. Staff are forced into management positions even though they are not qualified, severely lacking people-skills, barely ever giving praise for well done work. I was ultimately laid off after 4.5 years of completely issue-free employment, consistently delivering error-free work on or before deadlines; the reason I was given for my termination: "We don't have enough work coming up for the current size of the team"... I heard a few months later they were hiring new people for the same role I had. That's garbage, mama.

Such a greedy company

I’ve overbilled clients hundreds of thousands of dollars under direction of management. They also use very unskilled agents and rely on managers to cover up all the acquisition failures. All other departments are designed to suck the budget before any land can be signed. Then, it’s time for a change order… and many more to come. Sorry clients

|
Long hours. If you walk in 5 minutes late and one of the senior managers sees you then you made to feel guilty unless your family or friends. Low pay. Senior managers pretend to be friendly. Culture is to make sure your time are entered every day and all has to be billed to a client.
