This company presents itself as a "work family" where everyone supports each other--nothing could be further from the truth! Any work you do that you don't personally self-promote will be stolen by another employee and passed off as their own work. Plus 95% of employees spend a good majority of time brown-nosing upper management--if you are not willing to do this, I'd suggest keeping your resume current. They expect a lot of growth on their legacy product--which is good for some applications but cannot compete with the bigger company's competitive products which have been entrenched for 15+ years. The new product is a much better application of the smaller product and is being launched into a new market segment. Sadly, it is just a larger version of their legacy product--BUT they charge considerably more for it, so it doesn't take long for the hospitals to figure out they are being fleeced. Management is not willing to negotiate on price, even for the largest hospitals in the U.S.
There is considerable room for product failure (usually due to operator error) so even the best accounts need constant support. However, there is not a large enough field/clinical force, so you will always be infuriating (and possibly losing) accounts. Commission on the newly released product is tied to sales growth of the legacy product, so 80-90% of reps will never be at-plan or make the promised commissions. Turnover is brutal--you are likely to step into a territory that has had 3 or more reps in the past 3 years and you will spend the first 6-12 months trying to repair their bad reputation and the perceived or real product failures and then get fired yourself because you haven't grown the territory. Management expects INSTANT results -- it all comes down to boxes sold. You will be harassed at the close of every month (which is how you are paid) to load the customer's shelves. Quota will be set low the first month and then it will quickly be raised to an unattainable amount. Sadly, I had respect for the CEO, but he is seems pretty uninvolved and apparently doesn't care that his right hand man, who actually runs the company, is an obnoxious, egocentric snake in the grass. I wouldn't wish this company on my worst enemy.

Basically good product, especially the product approved in 2019. Good clinical research behind the product.

Upper management is self-deluded on multiple fronts, reading "The Emperor's New Clothes" will give you an idea of how to interact with management, they work hard to figure out how to NOT pay you your commission

FDA should look into the multiple device failures that have not been reported. Knockoff of AngioSeal, only not as trustworthy. Such high employee turnover in sales due to lack of device performance
