When I separated from the company I was NOT paid my PTO over 40 hours. My experience was good until then. Slow advancement. Training is not a priority. Good feedback from supervisor.

Call Center with a Family Feel

Careington strives to make you feel a part of the family. This is accomplished through quarterly outings, meals delivered to the call center, and some celebrated holidays like Halloween. The environment and the people are a great asset. That being said, it is still a Call Center and has the pit falls of one. Burn out and turn over rates are high as the job is not a fit for everyone.

I can go to work at Careington everyday knowing I can put in a honest day of work with managers that care. Managers who are engaging and invested in the direction of the company. Constantly, and consistently providing the utmost professionalism to its clients and to its employees. I don't feel like just a number. The work / life balance that exists at Careington is 2nd to none. I love working here.

The worst company I ever work for. This job literally made me sick. This company does not care about employees. Managment is only there for themselves. No guidance or assistance. However they will take credit for everything. Not to mention that they all grew up together. No room for advancement. I was there 4 years and it was a revolving door. They will use you up and spit you out. Recommend...run and dont look back.

...until its growth outpaced the infrastructure. Special work schedules like flex time, work from home, and non-prime hours unevenly available or approved.
Typical day was more reactive that proactive. Network and help desk administration verging to too-casual.

Careington WAS a good small company
|
Careington International was a good place to work - senior executives seen in-office, CEO knew many employee names, benefits, pay scale and holiday calendar quite generous.
Then Careington began to grow more and more rapidly. And the culture started to change. Gone were the casual corridor encounters with chairman or CEO, onsite employee and quarterly department events. Work became reactive rather than pro-active. Nepotism was rampant. The divide between executives and the rest of the company became more pronounced.
Careington is well on the way to becoming just another small-but-growing corporation that lost itself.
