They now allow work at home...until Covid-19 the company was not a work at home company.

Long hours, no advancement or pay increase opportunities, your entire day is timed down to the minute, the only thing that matters is sales while taking service calls at the same time. You have to work overtime to make your sales goals because you are doing address changes and other non insurance tasks during business hours. The management uses threats, intimidation and fear as motivators.

Most employees that work at NSM are amazing. I've never worked at a company that I could honestly say I had several friendships with. When the workday was done, we all seemed to come together as if we were family. The culture is great because of the people that make up the workforce.
|
Upper Management has no direction. It is completely based on throwing as much as possible at a wall and hoping that something sticks. If something doesn't stick, you're to blame, not upper management. Then they let you go without explanation. Your employment there is completely arbitrary.
I wouldn't recommend establishing a career there to anyone. That is a "stepping stone" company.
