Some departments were worked to the bone whilst others did nothing at allx Then one day at a regular numbers meeting, the team lead was going through their motivation speech and acknowledging the staff with the highest numbers when upper management stopped the meeting beifly said we all need to pack up and get out... 300+ employees laid off without any notice. The numbers ruled the company and medical records,transcription' and case managers did all the work and was pressured while the other departments had daily parties. The work itself was great, and the people were wonderful to work with. The ownership was transferred and we were reassured we would keep our job. Overall the company wasn't a terrible place to work even though it was a call center environment. Some days were stressful especially at the end of the month when management is pressuring you to meet certain goals. However, a lot of the people in upper management were friends, so it was difficult when you had an issue with a supervisor, and you followed proper procedures to make a complaint, but nothing would get done because mgmt and HR were all friends or "had each others back". The level of professionalism and honesty with mgmt and HR was pretty low. You could say some supervisors sat at their desks all day, were controlling and acted like they were irreplaceable and that their stuff didn't stink. The co-workers were great, and they really worked hard to help all patients. A lot of patients and family members liked the service CareSync provided over the phone and its a shame the company shut down.
