The management are appalling. Keep staff out of the loop. No idea what's going on.
You learn alot about a company in hard times and you learn they do not value staff.
Redeployment of staff against there wishes
The company is a private company and all they are fixated are is money.
They pay good working staff peanuts.
No care in caretech we are missing the ££ sign as that's all they think about, how to con comissionors and families for bad quality care. Staff are overworked and tired.

Learn how to value staff
Stop redeploying staff for your own agendas. Think about staff and there lives at home. The reaction we shouldn't be getting is you can leave or we will offer you redundancy. No care for your staff who work hard.
Area managers need to come work on the shop floor instead of just giving out orders
The company isn't great so stop acting like it is. You are now losing good staff as you are alienating them.

Wages always wrong, owed thousands. Management bully staff into deployment up to six hour drives, taken off shift of staff refuse. Management cover up staff ratios to social work. All complaints not upheld despite dozens of staff giving evidence. Staff had to ask for details outcome of investigation.

Caretech are a good company and they do care for their staff, but they need to be aware of what is going on on Dumfries and Galloway and listen to the alarm bells raised here by many staff. Their reputation is being ruined by this one smaller company. Look at your upper management at ACAD again this time properly and thoroughly. Go back and investigate the deployment culture, one staff put off shift as he did not want to leave his region of Scotland as wife very ill. Taken off shift for refusing to travel to Inverness. Why was this covered up by ACAD? Why was this not upheld in the investigation? Wage dispute ongoing for years and still not resolved, just pay your staff! Properly investigate where money is going in upper management, there’s something not adding up. There’s a bullying culture at ACAD with management , again not upheld. They seem untouchable and never held to account for what they have done. How can it be right that over 15 staff and two managers have left the company in less than a year? One staff unfairly dismissed due to lies by one staff who is big friends with management. Clique culture, if face doesn’t fit you’ll get nowhere in the company no matter how hard you work. Lazy staff promoted so they can have extensions on their SSSC to complete qualifications they had plenty of time to do. What do staff have to do to be treated fairly and paid correctly? Do we now have to contact the press? The Scottish Government? Who do we speak to when HR and Unison don’t help us? Please please re-investigate and ask all staff to come forward, past and present.
