TGIF used to be great but
|
Poor leadership killed this company. Yes, the economy didn't help and the casual dining industry is in a tough spot. But I firmly believe that if leadership had not focused on building so many restaurants in cheap real estate locations and instead focused on keeping the food good and making customers happy then they would still be a great place to eat, work, and play.

Extremely demanding environment

Upper management is extremely demanding on midlevel management. Conference calls on days off, and daily emails to personal accounts were not unusual. The pay was decent and I was promoted quickly, however the overall enjoyment of the job was lacking.

The best business I have worked for in Texas. They care about their people and their customers.

I truly enjoyed going to work each day. The Executive Assistants and the Executives were all very welcoming and supportive as I learned the business and position. The hardest part of the job was to leave the office at 5:30pm everyday. It was required and that was a new requirement after more than 20 years of working in the corporate world.
I would work with them again. I recommend this company to anyone with great business and people skills. The atmosphere of the company and camaraderie was a wonderful experience.
