The pros I saw would be in the fact that the company respresented a brand that being Xerox which isn't going anywhere. They have a manager in one of their locations that is very invested in seeing the company succeed to its full potential.

All begins with the president, has a habit of pointing fingers everywhere else but doesn't see the flaws in his own office. I never felt like they truly cared about the people who worked hard for them every single day and they made it very challenging delivering on customers expectations based upon the pre-sale conversation they even had with potential client. Very high turnover rate due in large part of the micromanaging every day instead of trusting their reps to do their jobs even the more tenured and successful reps. They also like to make give you homework assignments to read books and then discuss for 2 hrs in a group setting after just having an hour forecasting meeting. They also liked to have you create reports and recap plans every week based off of the same activity information you should already be logging into your CRM.

I have been with the Company for about 3 years now and would say that it has been one of the best companies I have ever worked for by far. Every year my income has gone up by at least 20% if not more.
The bonus program is by far the best I have seen the triangle when it comes to copier companies. The President of the division is by far the most down to earth person I have ever worked for in my life. I would tell you that if you are looking a job that allows you to make good money and have a personal life at the same then come work for Carolina Office Systems.

If I had any down side to working here it would be the CRM program that we have to keep up with our customer base. It is not user friendly and you can't take it out in the field with you on a daily bases without have to stop somewhere any find free Wi-Fi. This is one of the most important parts of doing the job if you are looking to build a solid territory within 5 years or less. But besides that I have nothing bad to say about the company..

I really thing that we need a better CRM program like Salesforce that will allow us to make changes to our accounts after is cold call and appointments we go on. It is hard to be in the field until 4 pm each day and then half to come back to the office and put everything back in the CRM program. It would be easier and more helpful to have everything at your fingertips out in the field.

The best environment I've ever worked in. The leadership team is 100% committed to providing every employee with the tools necessary to succeed. Every co-worker is passionate about their job and helping the organization be the best of the best. From the training side, the continuing education that's provided is second to none and encourages growth and development at the highest level. The management is set up to be mentor/protege vs manager/employee- which is a breath of fresh air.

Not much to say here without grasping at straws. If I had to pick out an area of potential improvement, it would be technology. In an effort to prevent costs being passed onto the customer, there were times when the employees technology is a little behind the curve. However, I know the CEO has initiatives in place to take care of this.
