High expectations but worth it
|
I was expected to manage my own time and work load. They hold you to a high expectation and expect you to get a lot done without too much managerial oversight. It’s a lot of responsibility and fairly stressful to be honest, but the experience is worth the time and effort it takes to manage yourself. I learned a lot during my time at Carousel Industries.

A stable paycheck

I’m going to be candid in this review. Right now, Carousel is a stable paycheck to keep the food on the table. And while things could be better around here, they could certainly be worse. We’re weathering the COVID storm as well as could be expected. We’re also doing a good job maintaining a sense of team and togetherness. I praise the management for their efforts in keeping the company going during this troubling year.

Plenty to do and learn on a daily basis. As technology continues to advance the staff are required to learn at a rapid pace to keep up. If you’re not a learning machine you should stay away. This is the type of job that requires a “life long learning” type of mentality. Perfect for go-getters (like myself) who like a good challenge.

The company is always putting on team bonding activities and fun events like potlucks and holiday parties. We even had an ugly sweater party one year that topped every other party previously. All of these events really help promote a strong team dynamic, and it also helps that management is always accessible and willing to offer support when needed.

They always promote from within. If you work hard and give it your all, you’ll be able to establish a good career for yourself here. The pay is excellent, full benefits, and they even do a 401k match. Definitely worth the investment.
