I've worked directly with top management for over 4 years now and have found them to be the best people I've worked with my entire career. They are the reason why I'm with the company and I'm sure many others echo this sentiment. Career-wise you are unlimited at Carrot Medical. It has been easy to get involved in many aspects of the company from sales, service, marketing, and R&D. I've had a blast and will continue to do so for years to come.

It's a small company with small budgets. We have to fight hard to make every dollar count but, in the end, we've all learned how to run a lean, profitable business.

This is response to the review left by "Anonymous" on July 17th. First of all, it's sad that this person did not have the decency to list their name. If you hide behind "Anonymous" it displays a trait of cowardliness.
I have worked with many different people and companies over 40 years time and Carrot Medical’s CEO is one of the BEST in terms of trying to be ethical and do the right thing by everyone! Carrot Medical has a stellar ethical and regulatory compliance record. And I know from personal experience and observation that the CEO cares about people on a personal level.

As a start-up company adequate funding and resources to compete effectively against the big players has always been a limiting factor. However the nimbleness of a small company is a plus against the resource constraints.

To be honest, I fear writing a "cons" review. C level Management is dishonest and down right mean. You are expected to work above and beyond without a lunch. Every day is walking on eggshells. Don't even think about taking a day off without them being upset.

A Very Focused Company

Carrot knows what it's trying to do in the Interventional Medical space. They are focused on providing the best solutions coupled with industry leading installation and follow-up support. Their products and solutions are also geared towards the hospital's economics. Specifically how they address the retrofit market unlike anyone else.

The company has been underfunded which has been a limitation. In spite of that, they seem to continue to find a way to be successful year after year in a challenging marketplace.

Very small company so you know everyone. It's a field sales position so you don't have to report to an office.

Horrible pay and commissions compared to the rest of industry. Very low salary and management is daily hounding you for results. It's a very long term sale going against large companies like St. Jude, Toshiba, Phillips and GE so you really don't have a chance but management never understood. CEO very nice but unrealistic and no sales experience.
