Cartasite makes an honest attempt to keep employees happy. Management doesn't try to force processes. They will adapt as needed. The company, while small, also tries to find unique solutions for each employee to meet their needs for growth, be it through training, seminars, certifications or online courses.
|
It is difficult to move up within the company, due to it's size. There is no 401k match.

Lack of accurate communication on company direction from all angles in the leadership team. Unstable company with an extremely high turnover rate. Worked there for nearly 2 years and didn't receive a single raise, cost of living increase, no 401k match, and no title changes despite over expectation reviews.

Cartasite's Engineering and Operations departments share a floor in the building and have a fully open floor plan, no offices, which keeps collaboration channels open at all levels. We jump into breakout rooms to whiteboard solutions or just huddle up in our working space. Retrospectives are embraced and processes and culture evolve as people make suggestions.

No telecommuting allowed at this time except snow days.

The people at Cartasite have created a great culture and working environment. Good location near downtown, with regular office events to make it a trendy place to work for. Lots of potential in place for the company to grow in the near future, and a great dev team in place to take it there.

They try to invest in latest Technologies, so a lot to learn.

Bad Company culture. Very informal and unprofessional. Not a lot of good people in the company. High employee turnover and doesn't seem like Management wants to do anything about it. They rely heavily on some people to make important decisions, instead of putting process or rules in place.

The people you work with are nice. Its easy to make friends. The location is not terrible. Work life balance

This is not a fake review. This is from someone who works for this company right now.
The people you work for are clueless.
Some people on their 2 week notice period were told they were expected to work late to get things done. Management does not listen to anyone that isn't management, Communication is at ZERO. Between departments, inside the same department. They fire sales people who are honest. There is so little going right here. Management does not like being questioned on anything. They do not like confrontation.
