Speak to people how you would like to be spoken to. There are some good people there but ownership makes it very hard to have any kind of positive outlook. They seemed laser-focused on small issues. There was a quick start guide for new employees but 50% of it was focused on what to do in the bathroom, when to touch a toilet seat, you know, the important things. This came from the owner. The office is in a run-down strip mall. We are definitely laser-focused on the little things. In fact, our clients appreciate our attention to detail. \n\nWe've had tremendous feedback about the quick start guide. As you acknowledged, it does cover bathroom etiquette, mostly to prevent issues that we've all seen in the past (although 50% is a little of an exaggeration). \n\nWe are very proud of our office. As an investor-funded startup, we don't waste money on lavish offices and marble conference table. I enjoy sharing program details with cardholders and potential cardholders. The company is set up where the majority of us started earning equity as part of our salary - bonus- everyone here has an extra stake and drive for the company to succeed. If we didn't believe in the company we wouldn't be here. Sure it was a risk but one I'm very happy I took and it paid off. The office is in Chatsworth so there's not much to do around here. And well, it's a start up so the office isn't fancy, sometimes it calls for long hours but as the team continues to grow, there will be more time to relax and enjoy the extensive vacation package offered.
