I worked for Caspio for almost 10 years and I do appreciate the opportunity that was given to me. Frank the CEO of this company is a kind person who is always available for all the employees. He is always open to help and guide you. The very first manager I worked with for almost 6 years is a great mentor. Regarding the latest VP of support that I worked with, she is also a great person who is always listening to you and helping to find the best path for your career growth. There is no politics and you can easily work with your team members and even easily go to the VPs and Directors which is priceless.
There are tones of fun stuff and event that are happening at the company too. Twice a week the company provides lunch and you can enjoy your lunch while talking to all coworkers. Believe Caspio becomes your family very soon after you join. A very friendly and fun environment to work in.

There are always rooms for improvement as well. There has been some micromanagement that I was not comfortable with but if you ever see any cons you can directly go to the VP or CEO and report. No work from home policy either.

The software called Bridge has great potential if it gets frequent and serious updates, though it is still outdated and pricier when compared to other Database platforms. other than that the support team is very helpful and there is catered lunch every Wednesdays.

One of the major drawback of working here in Technical support team is the management. an extreme case of micromanagement. they will watch all your activities, keep an eye on how many times you went to the restroom and if you're late to work you will be questioned so be prepared to have a valid reason. Other than that there are reorgs every now and then, Pricing plans keep changing and you're expected to work in the departments or are given job roles that you were not hired for. And even though you take it as a challenge and try to deliver, trust me your work is never valued. There is a high turnover rate especially in the support team due to the micromanager, but the upper management will never realize this. People leave and they are not replaced. Other team members are loaded with the work and yet their hard work is never appreciated or valued. All we get to hear is "what value can you bring to this company" well who is doing all the work then? You as management can only keep an eye on your employees daily activities. Why don't you step in and show us what value are you bringing to the company?

Honestly.... After being way from this organization for more than a year I have never been happier about leaving.
- They are very inflexible here. no working from home... EVER.
- They literally time every moment you are away from your desk. It's so uncomfortable.
- There's no room for any self development if you want to further yourself
- As a sales person you get zero support and are expected to be your own solutions engineer....
- Compensation is really crappy
- The product is DATED.... And the new releases don't actually support the customer, but professional services. That's right folks, this is not a customer first organization. It's money first organization. Even the employees are not spared.
- Product UI is SLOW. Marketed to be simple, but isn't. And does not function as well as other true middleware solutions on the market.
Reading the positive comments on here... I just don't see how it could have came from an actual happy employee. Seriously, the pinned post sounds exactly like it came out of leaderships mouths.

Some nice people work here, and I enjoyed spending time with them outside of work. Somehow, they seem to care about the company, but sadly the CEO never recognizes their effort.
I learned the importance of being selective in my job search.

This is not the company to work for if you'd like to progress your career. There are a host of employees who continue to work at Caspio because of their loyalty to the CEO, despite their blatant incompetence. It's extremely hard to imagine these employees getting hired anywhere else. The low energy, low skill environment is exhausting to experience daily.
It's impossibly hard to describe all of the things wrong here. There's no reason to settle for Caspio in a place like the Bay Area.

This is the WORST place I have ever worked for and solely because of the CEO.
The relationship between an employee and manager, especially a CEO, should be one of mutual respect and support. Instead, Frank (the CEO) used bullying, degradation, and verbal abuse as a management style. Not only is it unconscionable to work in such a hostile environment, but it is also physically and mentally debilitating to work in such a stressful and uncomfortable place. I have documented and brought specific instances to HR to help find a solution and intervene with Frank's inappropriate behavior but no changes were made to help make this a safe work environment. Caspio has been reported to the Department of Workforce Services many times and is up against many lawsuits because of how the CEO treats his staff.

Workers are genuinely kind people.
Product is full featured.
There are a handful of rockstars that exist here.

Terrible culture- Low energy fills the company environment and you feel side eyes every-time you need to take a breather.
Micromanagement is so over the top. Management worries more about how many activities you can produce rather than your health, sanity, and self development.
Feedback is always asked but never quite respected.
What's the point in asking for feedback if you never do anything about it?
Executives themselves don't play nice with one another or respect (let alone celebrate) one another's success.
Need a flexible schedule? Ha Good luck getting that here.
The work philosophy is work harder not necessarily smarter.
If you like feeling like you're stuck working in the year 1990 you might fit in here.
