Wonderful Experience - Incredible Opportunities

As it isn't a big company, you're exposed to so many things in the market. You get to work on deals you never would at a larger firm. As a result, you're on a much accelerated learning curve.
|
Expectations are high and the pressure is on to perform all the top. There is no room for sloppiness or mistakes. For me, I like it as it brings out the best in me, but not everything feels the same.
There is travel to portfolio companies which again, some don't like, but I think is a provides a great chance to learn and soak up more knowledge.

They are incredibly friendly and supportive, everyone is super smart, and they are just a great team to work with.
The culture is phenomenal and there are so many great opportunities to learn!
If you want your career to develeop you will fit right in as they are very focused on developing employees.
You will never get bored as there are constantly new challenges. One day you will be working with someone on a deal, the next another with someone else. It’s a great way to learn so much and they are willing to teach you.

A great team! There's a wonderful learning culture that is focused on the staff.
You have the best of both worlds. Working on some huge deals, but in a small firm environment that allows for a great hands-on learning experience as well as getting an insight from experienced people who’ve been working in the industry for a while.
Everyone is friendly and treats each other respectfully.
The perks and benefits are great!
You are pushed to be the best you can be and will work on lots of different projects. If you would like to grow there are opportunities to do so.
Upper management are genuinely supportive which makes a real difference.

Work/life balance can be challenging, but this is the same anywhere and is ultimately on the individual to determine.

Good staff, they will treat you well if you put in the work. It is a good place to work if you want to get into finance and they will provide you with food!

It can be stressful working with higher level staff. It can be nerve racking to mess up, but as long as you are honest with them it will not be a problem

I think that the best way to go about this would be to hire people more consistantly. It is difficult to get the hours that you want and I think that it would help if there were more ammenaties.
