CBS Butler has a great group of people at their company and the social events are always fun! The training programmes are good.
|
When I joined I had to build a desk from scratch with no contacts, or clients. This was very hard as I had 0 experience in recruitment. I think it would have been better if I started off as just looking for candidates, not the whole desk building.

I joined CBSbutler back in 2012 as an administration assistant, I was there for 3 years when I got the urge to get in with the hustle and bustle on the sales floor!
It was buzzy, loud, fun, but there was something missing…
I did leave the business in early 2019 to explore some of my own personal challenges, it was a massive decision for me to make, it wasn’t just my ‘work’ I was leaving, I was leaving a family and an amazing team behind, the business was very supportive of me leaving.
I had my exit meeting with Rob Harper, he had literally been back with the business a week when I handed my notice in (sorry Rob) Rob and I worked together before at CBSbutler in 2012-2015 and he had a lot of ideas when he re-joined in 2019 and we couldn’t have had a better person come back, it’s a breath of fresh air to have Rob in the business, we’ve needed this for 3+ years!
I reached out to Rob after being out of the business for 4-5 months, BIGGEST MISTAKE I MADE WAS LEAVING – I can confirm the grass is not always greener!
Since being back, we’re a team again, we’re growing, we all support each other, we do more socials together as a business not just an office, we thrive on our company values, the orange and blue has gone, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!

Staffing360 (who bought CBSbutler in 2017) have created a great place and atmosphere in which to work. Commitment to training and helping you succeed in your job. Very good salary and commission system coupled with a mature and professional sales environment. I highly recommend.
|
Location in Redhill is a bit out of the way for some people, however I believe that home working will become more widely available (and they have created an extremely robust IT system so this is available throughout the current crisis)
They need to be more clear on career advancement - certainly for more junior and mid level employees - I know this is being worked on.
