It's a typical small start up: not profitable, so they need funding, because they have funding and aren't profitable, they are stressed out of their minds. Impromptu meetings always, hidden expectations that change depending on how irritated the C levels are. They keep trying to please their shareholders and by so doing their employees and customers suffer and they ultimately don't please their shareholders. Go figure.

The company offers a wonderful service to those companies who subscribe to it. Given that only 1% of all transactions move into a chargeback status, the niche is small, but I believe that chargeback (formerly chargeback.com) is poised to become a great leader in that industry.

It was an area where I learned a lot about the process about recovering funds within the financial crimes unit. I was assigned a queue filled with cases of taken in fraud claims where I researched and documented findings on cases for possible referrals for SAR, ITO or suspected financial abuse. I worked with the 2 major networks, Visa, AMEX, and MasterCard where each network provided a different set of rules and regulations as far as the recovery of funds. Everything was great about the position, I would just like to continue to elevate my skills and pay.

On a typical day at work I was able to go in and do what I needed to without any supervision. I learned how to sit up correspondence to go out to the banks and customers. My coworkers were a great bunch of people. The hardest part of the job was to leave the people I worked for when the company was sold, Everything was enjoyable.
