A Company that Cares
|
Christian Living Communities cares about us. They give us Hero Pay to take care of COVID residents, they give us a bonus if we pick up an open shift and my manager give me praise on We Honor. I feel special seeing my name thanked on the computer and my work friends see it too and tell me "good job". It is like family to go to work. Only bad thing is my phone don't always work because wifi no good. I like residents but wish family could visit. That is hard. Executive Director is new and always smiles, so nice. I like it.

Great at first then reality sets in

There for a few months then as time went on you start to see why turn over is so high. There is an obvious disconnect between administration and clinical staff. Covid response has been terrible
|
Looks good on resume

High turn over, no accountability, and culturally stunted...minorities in the bottom jobs

This company was great to work for. They treated their residents like royalty. They always had big parties, luaus, all kinds of celebration. We were a very diverse community of employees, the culture there was beautiful.

Lack of communication opportunities between associates. There is some drama, some people do not like the job but like the pay. There is gossiping amongst staff sometimes supervisors participate. Residents are friendly & happy. The job is great if you care about people, there is time to get to know the residents. Supplies is always available. Could be more organized in some areas.

Fast paced environment with expectations that have a tendency to burn out hard working employees

This is a company that almost all employees have too much on their plate and not enough time to get things done. You'll have a few long term employees, but they are the ones who don't work too hard so they don't get burnt out. If you are a dedicated employee and work hard, they will place a lot more responsibility on you and work you hard. The communication from management to staff is poor. Expectations are high and unreasonable.
