Every coworker I have met has always been extremely nice and welcoming. They listen to new ideas and are welcome to try new things. No huge change management process to get things done.

Most work is done in solitude. My team mostly worked on individual projects (not much teamwork).

See above. While all of that equates to enjoyable work atmosphere, the pace of innovation is painfully slow, clients are very niche-oriented. No new products introduced in 10+ years, just upgrades to existing with minimal added value to clients. Not a sustainable path, not a long term viable business. Management team and most senior members are essentially riding out the shrinking cash flow current into retirement.

Bullying should not be an acceptable workplace practice

Great emphasis is put towards work life balance with its employees. On the most part I was happy working for CINCOM ANZ working alongside some great individuals.
|
Unfortunately I fell victim to the wrath and continual bullying from a senior manager to whom I reported.. Contributing to the smooth running of the office I was never once recognised by this particular manager for doing anything right in the three and a bit years I worked for the company. I can only presume they felt their position threatened by my shear presence for whatever reason unknown to me. I found it quite upsetting when I finally stood up for myself after being accused of discriminatory behaviour which was totally unfounded I was pushed out the door that very day as I never got to give my side of the story and very unfair in my view. Its a shame such behaviour in this day and age is acceptable in the workplace as bullying leaves long lasting phycological scars.

Wonderful people, slowing sales

As with most companies, the people with which you work always make your job and your day better. I met incredibly friendly people at Cincom who may my days fun and interesting.
|
The sales for the product on which I worked were dismal to say the least. This is not my judgement, but the admission of the product team and sales figures released to the team. I was not surprised that I was let go. Honestly I was wondering how they were going to keep me.
The technology we were using was old, but hopefully that will change in the future.
