It was one of the best jobs I've ever had. The office staff was wonderful and helpful. The technology we were working on was well funded and supported. My manager was knowledgeable and a positive influence on my work day. I felt listened to and appreciated by upper management. The only reason I left was that the decision to close many of the satellite offices was made at the beginning of the economic downturn. I was offered a position at the corporate headquarters, but I wasn't ready to leave the area.
