Think Again.. It's Not Worth it.
Reviews are often difficult to write because they’re typically fueled by emotion and therefore are clouded by bias. It’s been a while since I worked at PerformCB and I’ve taken some time to reflect on my employment there and what I would have liked to know before going into the company. I’m going to share it with you and you have the right to form your own opinions from there.
Pros:
Pay is relatively good, however negotiate at the beginning because raises and promotions are few and far between especially if you’re in a department other than their network side.
Their tech is amazing and makes work life easier.
The benefits are awesome. 401k match up to 4%, 100% covered medical, dental, vision. and unlimited PTO (sort of- if you take too much you get fired or written up, and by too much I mean anything more than a week or two.)
The day to day people for the most part are amazing.
Cons:
You’re overworked and when you complain you’re labeled as a bad apple and quickly disposed of.
Good people (middle management and managers) get “laid” off randomly for seemingly no reason and no explanation and are replaced by people who are either incompetent or just so green they aren’t of value.
Absolutely no chance for raises or promotions unless you work so hard you neglect your personal life and even then you’ll be low balled and looked over if you aren’t a “yes” person.
Leadership either has no clue what’s going on or does and just doesn’t care.
The CEO has an incredible rise to fame story but it’s very evident that she’s not had to struggle or go through hardship in her working life because the lack of empathy and overall maturity that comes with someone having ups and downs in their personal and professional life is clear and blazingly loudly absent. She’s not a bad person but she plays favorites and if you fall out of line you’re easily eliminated. This fosters a working environment of constantly trying to please the queen verses actually fostering ideas for growth and change.
Harassment of all kinds runs rampant in this organization. Sexual, age discrimination, gender discrimination, I’ve first hand witness this and it’s allowed to continue from some of the highest levels of management. Also, people operations is not your friend. They’re HR through and through. They do NOT care about your well being, only how to protect the company, as any HR would. This one though allows its leaders to violate your rights on a consistent basis without even a slap on the wrist.

All in all, I am would highly recommend seeking other companies if you’re looking for a decent work life balance and a company who values your contributions and fosters growth within their organization.

Clickbooth should be named Cliquebooth. You have to fit into the club.
Nice on site facilities. Semi flexible work schedule.
High School Drama constantly. Tons of jealousy if you do better than anyone. Random firings if management doesn't like you and there's no write up process. It's a boy's and girls club and you have to fit into their cliques or they don't like you. Executive management talks down to you like you're worthless and calls you names while swearing at you.

You guys are the most self absorbed children ever. You need to learn how to run the company like a non-bias company that promotes people who are deserving of it and quit letting all the women in there threaten to cause problems for you so you''l fire someone they don't like. They literally all band together like dramatic high school teenagers and the CEO doesn't nothing about it because she's the poster child of "girl power" when in reality she's condoning bully behavior because all the women act like that have something to prove against men. Such a hostile work environment.

Great comradery and hard-working teams. Culture was fun, work from home was fantastic, they gave me a chance with very little affiliate experience.
Very large workload, management changed/re-org'd and everything kind of fell apart. Mass exodus of top talent.

management and investment groups taking away from the company
Decent benefits, people are fine, unlimited PTO, alright perks if you come from a company that does not offer any.
This used to be such a great company to work for. Between new management and the capital investment group bringing in advisors, this place is being lead by the blind and no longer feels like a small company who cares for its people. Many key leaders have left in the last few years, and those being hired to fill their positions are under qualified to put it lightly. I also believe some the C-Suite and other managers are being pushed to do things they do not agree with but do not have the backbone to stick up for themselves. They also do not have a problem letting go of anyone who tries to bring attention to the glaringly obvious problems.
Many parts of the company are struggling to meet growth goals, however, everyone acts on impulse instead of coming up with a solid plan for growth

Do not work here.
You'll see this in the genuine reviews on here, but the people you work with are fun and decent, but management and C-suite are very out of touch and only care about their own advancement.
They took down my previous review, which I assume they requested cause they're always 'encouraging' current employees to come on here and leave positive reviews to keep the rotating doors moving.
If you're not a 'yes' man/woman you won't get very far with management. They heavily play favorites and if you're not one of the very select few they'll keep you in the same place and get rid of you if you speak up about it or go against the grain.
It was mentioned in another review but while I was there, during one of the retreats, there were several female employees who were sexually harassed and everyone knew which guys were doing it. Years later they were still there and still progressing in the company so if they did anything behind closed doors about it, it was nothing more than a slap on the wrist.
Lastly, they fire people all the time. Every month you'll be told 'this isn't typical' and believe them the first few times but you quickly find out they're lying and it is.
It makes sense when you take step back because culture is built from the people at the top and I'm convinced after seeing who is at the top that they're not decent people. They all think they are, like everyone would, but anyone who I enjoyed working with and wasn't just looking out for themselves isn't there anymore. That speaks loads. You can get everything they offer and not waste your time by going with another company/agency.

I have no advice, because they're not going to listen. You'll get HR to respond to this with 'we take feedback seriously,' but anyone who's been there know that's fake. Even now looking at who's there, the Perform people who took over from Clickbooth are all still there, but I don't recognize a single person from the agency side which shows that's still a revolving door and leadership hasn't changed at all. Erin, I hope you genuinely reflect on the negative reviews out there on you and the company you've built, because this isn't typical. I've worked for many companies since then and only seen a one other with such an out of touch C-suite.

Nothing is perfect, but they really do care! Agency addition...
New leadership on agency side who leans in and does their best to accommodate requests, and suggestions. Great pay and bonus structure, wonderful compensation, and strong team spirit.
Listen, no company is perfect, and having been in this industry for a while now, I can attest that the grass isn't always greener somewhere else. Cons? Large work loads, reporting could be more streamlined, and raises and hiring should be comparable to growth of the clientele.

Continue to listen to us, try to change where you can, and continue to be open to suggestions and change. I absolutely love working for PCB - Agency side, and from what I can tell from those that are here now, we are pretty much an all new staff who has direct leadership we love, who listens to us, treats us like equals and does whatever they can do to help make our lives easier. I don't know what happened last year but this team and organization is making changes for the better, and coming from a competitor, I can attest, that this is a much better environment than most! Agency life is hard work, and if you aren't willing to lean in and learn, adjust, and help then it isn't the right career path. Thank you PCB for giving me this amazing opportunity and I hope I make you proud. (Even if you don't know who I am!)

Agency Life - It's not for everyone
Remote organization Strong leadership experience Account Managers know their stuff and can handle accounts well

Test and invest doesn't take hold. Knee jerk reactions to market and many key team members are pushed to work harder to pick up slack for changes. Feedback isn't received well from leadership regarding direction of the company

Dont Waste Your Time
Misery loves company, the bonds you'll create with your teammates are irreplaceable. Unfortunately all of those people have left the company for something better.
Remote work is nice.
Biggest downside: Compensation. Despite hitting goals, my compensation was never evaluated in the several years I worked there. Competitors pay much better and the work load is half as much. They might give you a raise if you threaten to leave though.
The typical underpaid/overworked spiel. AMs are juggling several accounts at one time and those accounts are moving around the AMs more frequently than you think. Theres tons of turnover which is why an account doesnt have an AM for very long.
Nothing is streamlined, processes change very frequently and for no reason at all. Might save them a buck or two.
