Small family oriented business that is making a big impact in the research industry for cosmetics, toilotries, otc drugs and personal care products.
A day at CRL is very productive, numerous subjects are coming and going to participate and follows-up on various studies which make the day progress at a faster rate. I like how the company create an environment for people with small children and allow a flexible schedule.

Too much inside politics and company management frequent changes

Worst job i ever had. High turnover rate. Poor training. Hr is no help as they just want to keep their job as well.
Promotions go to whom they prefer rather than being qualified for it more often than not which in turn brings the department down. Also low pay.

Typical work day in clinical trials is a lot of preparation, fact pace, and time restraints. You are constantly micro managed, promoted new hires over senior technicians who better deserved promotion, and show little or no regard of appreciation as a team. You will learn how to get a thick skin, really become an expert at calibration of each instrument in the laboratory, and deal with people of all dispositions.The most enjoyable part of the position are the support of other departments trying to keep a disordered company to be more inviting for co-workers and panelists.

The people were great to work with.
|
I was let go due to financial reasons and they did not fairly compensated for my long time of service with them. The year before when they let people go, they offered 1 week of severance for every year of service. I was only given 3 months of pay as severance. The company is now under new management and the morale of the work force is very low.
