Decent benefit package, generous telework and flexible scheduling, understanding and responsive management and HR.
|
The on-boarding process several years ago was chaotic and took several months due to management turnover and security clearance delays.
While not a CRM issue per se', having worked as a government contractor before in another area, I am shocked at how contractors are made to feel like 2nd class citizens at the DoD locations.

This company does not care about its employees.

The pay in this position was good, as it should be in a position that has no job security. That was the only positive part.
|
The company has been under a lot of turnover at the management level, which led to a complete breakdown in communication. The management is a mess and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

No real cons. As a contractor, ClinicalRM is not able to do much if the client is not making efficient use of its contract employees (too little work for some, too much for others).

I recall excitement around the growth of the company and the charisma of the founder and CEO, Victoria Tifft, who was quite friendly. While there wasn’t much they could do to impact conditions on the client site, they made it clear they cared and regularly held lunches and events on and off site. They made an effort to keep employees informed of corporate developments which gave everyone a feeling of inclusion.

The company’s strategy to win work was often to underbid competitors. This of course meant less money when they won work to pay employees. Their compensation and benefits were fair at best. If you are looking at a specific set of positions or work sites, see if you can find the same job with one of the prime contractors, like SAIC or HJF. You will likely get a better salary and almost certainly better benefits. If not, be prepared to negotiate the compensation terms - they often low-ball initial offers. It’s a fine place to start your career, just be sure to do your homework.
