- Very strong culture. I've never before been at a company where people care about each other – and about the customers – as much as they do here. This goes beyond the shallow niceties and translates into people-oriented processes, long-tenured teammates, solid PTO, and plenty of feedback you give and receive daily.
- Healthy, fiscally responsible business. Close has been profitable for years, there were never any layoffs, and every team member has clarity as to our financial situation.
- A-class team. People are experienced, competent, creative, and are excited to apply their capabilities to some hard problems.

These aren't really generic cons, but I've seen some people struggle with the heavily asynchronous nature of communication at Close. It's also not a good place for someone who doesn't handle receiving lots of feedback well.

There is good high-level direction and teammates who are more than willing to help, but individuals are largely responsible for defining and driving their own task-level work. This approach may not work for everyone. * If your notions of career growth are primarily based on titles you will find that Close has very high standards for senior- and staff- level roles and beyond. Promotions may not come as quickly as other places. That said, the same types of work and opportunities are available to every individual on the team, regardless of title.
